What is CUSPAP and why is it important?

Submitted by witadmin on

CUSPAP is an acronym for “Canadian Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice” and is a set of mandatory rules to which all appraisal reports must comply. If an appraiser’s report is not compliant with CUSPAP they will not be covered under their error and omissions insurance policy. CUSPAP’s importance cannot be overemphasized as it encourages members to maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
